The Foyle Food Group requires a Shift Manager for our Retail Packing Operations in our Foyle Ingredients site in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and Production Manager, and work closely with Supervisors, Line Leaders and Technical personnel to oversee the day-to-day running of the facility to ensure the on-time delivery of a premium product.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, pressurised environment. Working to exacting specifications and targets, getting the best out of both people and equipment within the facility. Hours of operation are currently 6 days a week (Monday – Saturday) and the successful candidate will work 5 days out of 6, Sunday work will be operational in the future. Currently the role is predominantly day shift, hours of work are between 0600>1830.

The Foyle Food Group is looking to employ a Maintenance Fitter within our state of the art Retail Packing Facility at the Foyle Ingredients site based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will be part of the Foyle Ingredients Maintenance team, assisting in the day-to-day and preventative maintenance programmes. Duties will include but are not restricted to: greasing, oil checks, changing blades, tool changing, responding to machine break downs, and other general maintenance tasks.

The shifts for the day shift operations are currently 0600 > 1530 and 0800 > 1730 and when Evening Shift is in place working hours between 1600 > 0200 carried out on a rotational basis, Monday to Saturday (working 5 days from 6). Totalling 45 hours per week with opportunities to undertake additional hours. Occasional preventative maintenance work on a Sunday.

Foyle Donegal situated five minutes from Derry City require Evening Cleaners to be based at their Carrigan’s site in County Donegal. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor / Manager the successful candidates will be required to carry out in-depth industrial cleaning of all departments within the factory. Working as part of a Team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in Ireland.

Essential Criteria:
• Good communication skills and ability to learn and take instruction
• Awareness of Health & Safety
• Be able to work in a physically demanding role
• Be able to work with power hoses
• Awareness of chemical usage
• Be flexible and reliable in approach to meet demands of a busy Team working to a cleaning schedule
• Attentive to cleanliness and hygiene

Desired Criteria
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning in a food production environment
• Previous experience working with cleaning chemicals and a knowledge of COSHH

Working Times: shift pattern Monday – Friday 16.30pm – 12.30am.

Must be flexible towards shift patterns and willing to work hours outside the shift pattern
(including Weekends and Bank Holidays).

A shift cleaning bonus will be paid following a successful daily pre-production / hygiene audit.
