INFORMATION

The Foyle Food Group requires a Technical Systems Co-ordinator to be based at their Shared Service Centre in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in the UK / Ireland. This is a new role within the Group reporting to the Operations Technical Manager.

Essential criteria

• Third level relevant qualification
• Experience in quality management systems in red meat sector
• Have knowledge of HACCP, GMP, current food legislation and quality management systems
• Knowledge of customer requirements and standards
• Small amount of travel within the group sites and customer base

Desirable criteria

• Experience in factory systems
• A natural leader and ability to work effectively under pressure

INFORMATION

Foyle Food Group, Melton Mowbray requires a Technical Assistant to be based at their Melton site in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive beef processing groups in Ireland and the UK.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy Technical team. Duties will include; Conducting quality control checks including temperature and pH of beef carcases, Microbiological duties, online inspections of products ensuring compliance in accordance with customer specifications, Carrying out GMP / housekeeping / Quality audits to ensure compliance and assisting with preparation for external audits when required.
Essential Criteria:
• Technical or Food Related Qualification OR proven relevant experience
• Understanding of HACCP principles
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Competent in record keeping
• Motivated with ability to work on own initiative
• Able to solve problems analytically
• Computer literate

Desirable Criteria:
• Foundation certificate in Food Technology
• Previous experience working in the food industry
• Experience of BRC and/or Retailer Audits
• Food hygiene qualification
• Ability to complete quality checks on products throughout the process and ensure that finished product is to customer specification.

Foyle Gloucester based in Cinderford requires two Technical Assistants. You will be responsible for influencing attitudes to adopt and impose good factory practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland and for someone who is looking for an exciting new challenge with the scope to gain lots of experience.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy and highly performing Technical team. INFORMATION

The Foyle Group is seeking to employ a Specification and Quality Co-Ordinator, the successful candidate will be based out of the Group’s Shared Service Centre on the Foyle Omagh site. Reporting to the Group Technical Management team, as part of the Group Quality team you will be responsible for managing specifications from start to finish across the Group, conducting data reviews where applicable, liaising with customers to support the FFG quality Manager, contributing to the performance of KPI’s and conducting site quality verification and compliance audits and visits. This role will involve extensive travel within the Foyle Food Group and customers.

Essential Criteria:

• Understanding of product specification and butchery of beef
• Be familiar with red meat boning halls processes
• Be driven and work on their own initiative
• Forward thinking individual with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of computer packages and be computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Ability to interpret information and identify trends / action plans
• Hold a full driving license
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Ability to travel extensively throughout UK / Ireland and Europe / overnight stays
