Foyle Meats is one of the most reliable and successful slaughter and de-boning facilities in the UK and Ireland. Established in 1976, the facility has a processing capacity of 1,500 cattle per week. It currently provides employment for approximately 240 people.
Our beef de-boning facility boasts state of the art technology. The carcases are de-boned on a moving line with the assistance of a mechanical boning system. Through this technique, primal shelf life is increased, providing our customers with an end product that can be conserved for a longer period.
Our slaughter hall is fully equipped to the highest industry standards (EFSIS higher level). Prior to chilling, all carcases undergo HVES which reduces the maturation time required and enhances the eating quality of our meat.
