A fully integrated supply chain has been developed to support producers in delivering consistent, high-quality Aberdeen Angus beef to retail markets.
Producers across our supply base in the UK and Ireland benefit from initiatives that encourage the adoption of superior genetics, including access to high-genetic-merit sires, performance feedback reporting and detailed analysis of key production indicators.
We have implemented knowledge transfer initiatives that help drive continuous improvement across the supply base. These measures strengthen product integrity and ensure robust verification and traceability, delivering confidence for both retail partners and consumers.

Aberdeen Angus Quality Beef (AAQB)
The programme is supported through strong producer collaboration, including the long-established Aberdeen Angus Quality Beef Ltd (AAQB) co-operative, which has been supplying Foyle Food Group in Northern Ireland exclusively with Prime Aberdeen Angus cattle since 1998.
AAQB delivers a year-round supply of consistently high-quality product through a fully integrated, collaborative supply-chain approach. Membership of AAQB is underpinned by rigorous standards, including on‑farm assessment, animal registration, and sire verification. Ongoing development of this robust verification process provides confidence and assurance for both commercial partners and consumers, ensuring that only cattle sired by registered pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls are accepted into the Scheme.
Performance and continuous improvement are central to the programme. Members benefit from detailed performance reporting, access to superior genetics, and financial support for high-genetic-merit sires. Annual benchmarking recognises top-performing producers, reinforcing best practice and driving continuous improvements in efficiency, sustainability and product consistency across the AAQB producer network.
Angus Beef Ireland
Angus Beef Ireland represents a key partner in our integrated Aberdeen Angus supply chain, delivering premium-quality beef from a network of dedicated Irish producers.
The programme is built on strong relationships with producers ensuring aligned standards and a consistent supply of Aberdeen Angus cattle that meet specific customer requirements. All cattle are Bord Bia approved with full traceability from farm and must meet strict breed and quality specifications which reinforces consumer confidence in the Aberdeen Angus breed. Through close collaboration with our Irish supply base, Angus Beef Ireland continues to strengthen our ability to deliver a consistent, high-quality product, while supporting sustainable and profitable beef production at farm level.
