INFORMATION
Foyle Omagh requires a Dispatch Quality Control operative to be based primarily at Americold – 66 Silverwood Road, Craigavon, Co Armagh.
The role will entail the assembling and checking of Foyle Food Group product being dispatched externally from the above cold storage unit – the role will entail checking for defects and specification issues etc. The role is primarily Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work especially in November and December annually.
Hours of work > 10am – 6:30pm, however this can be flexible for the right candidate on completion of orders.
Essential Criteria
• Physically strong to manually check and build pallets of product
• Able to work in a cold environment
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Positive approach to safe working practices
• Flexible approach to working hours including weekend / early starts / late finishes
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
Desirable criteria
• Previous experience working in the red meat industry
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Previous experience of a quality control role

Logistics Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover Role)

INFORMATION
The Foyle Food Group requires a Logistics Co-ordinator to be based at their Shared Service Centre located on the Foyle Omagh site, this is a maternity cover role for a period of approx.. 9 months. If you are looking for a change in career path this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed – no previous experience needed as full training will be provided.
Essential Criteria
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident / Effective communicator
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills focusing on Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure
Hours of work in general are 0900 > to finish - Mon > Fri and provide cover to address issues every 3rd weekend
