Group Systems Developer

The Foyle Food Group is presently looking for a Systems Developer based in Foyle Omagh to assist with on–going project’s to install & develop additional systems within the Foyle Food Group.

The successful candidate will ideally have extensive knowledge of T–SQL, SQL Database Configuration and Optimisation, SSIS and C#, and be able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills within a fast paced environment. Experience of a using reporting tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports would be a distinct advantage. You will have a professional and presentable manner with confidence in your ability.

The successful candidate will assist the IT team in the on–going implementation of the Group’s Microsoft Navision ERP solution, Innova Production Control System and further develop reporting & integration between the company’s suite of applications.

Apprentice Engineer

Job description

Foyle Omagh are seeking an Apprentice Engineer to be based at their site on the Doogary Road on the outskirts of Omagh. This is an exciting opportunity to gain the skills and experience you need to achieve a recognised trade with one of the largest red meat processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

As an Apprentice Engineer you will work alongside fully qualified engineers on site. Duties will include a wide range of tasks from working in processing environments, to refrigeration and effluent treatment. Working closely with South West College the successful candidate will attend the necessary classes on a day release basis in order to successfully complete the mechanical / Electrical apprenticeship programme.

Ideally candidates should hold Maths, English and Science at GCSE or equivalent.

Please note that whilst the core hours for this role is 40 hours per week, the successful post holder will be required to be flexible in regards to starting and finishing times Mon > Sat.

The Foyle Food Group is the 3rd largest Red Meat processor in the UK and Ireland, we can provide you with the necessary training and development in some of the most modern facilities in the UK or Ireland to enable you to maximise your potential within the Company.

Currently working Monday > Friday a new shift pattern will be implemented in June where operatives will undertake four 10 hour shifts weekly (Mon > Fri) on a rotating shift system.

We will provide you will all the equipment and training necessary to reach your full potential; we pay a minimum of £8.00 per hour regardless of age, with potential earnings of up to £500 per week when fully trained.
