Production Operative

Locations: Foyle Food Group – Foyle Omagh
Closing Date: 31/03/2019

Foyle Omagh requires General Operatives to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidates will undertake operations in both the Beef Boning and Slaughter Halls on site – full training will be provided to use cutting equipment to enable employees to attain their full potential.

Hrs of work Beef Boning Hall > 0700 > 1730

4 x 10hr shifts each week with a rotating day off – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

Beef Slaughter Hall > 0830 > 1630 – 5 x 8hr shifts each week

(Production units are operational on Saturdays between the 1st Oct and the end of November)

Minimum hourly rate of £8 per hour regardless of age

    Company Accountant / Accounting Technician

    The Foyle Food Group is seeking to recruit an accountant to be based at the Group’s Shared Service Centre located in Omagh. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest red meat processing companies in the UK and Ireland.

    The successful candidate must be a fully qualified Accounts Technician or a recently Qualified Accountant who will have overall responsibility for managing the finances of one of our business units. You should be able to demonstrate leadership and managerial ability with strong decision-making skills. You should have a professional and presentable manner with strong confidence in your ability.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of roles within a busy finance team including:

    • Preparation of weekly accounts
    • Preparation of periodic (4 week) management accounts
    • Interpretation of the accounts, providing meaningful analysis and commentary
    • Working closely with the General Manager of the business unit to identify important business issues that need addressed including identification of cost savings
    • Assistance with the preparation of annual statutory accounts
    • Group VAT returns (NI & ROI) / RCT returns
    • Managing and mentoring the finance team within the business unit
    • Ad hoc duties to support the Group finance function and the Group Financial Controller including the preparation of ad-hoc reports

    Logistics Manager

    International Markets Sales

    The successful candidate will primarily focus on the administration of Export Sales outside the European Union, working with the International Sales Manager to facilitate the existing customer accounts to their full potential, identifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound communication, and continually updating and developing personal knowledge of products and 3rd World markets.

    • Previous Sales Administration / Commercial experience in food related background

    Line Leader

    Locations: Foyle Food Group – Foyle Ingredients

    The Foyle Food Group is looking to employ addition Line Leaders for our Retail Packing Operations in our Foyle Ingredients site in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

    The successful candidate will lead, develop and influence the shift operators to deliver the optimal contribution and achievement for the strategic plan and vison of the business, ensuring that outputs meet required standards for quality, service and cost.

    Hours of Operation for this role are Monday to Saturday (working 5 days from 6) totalling 40 hours per week between 0600 > 1900; with opportunities to undertake additional hours.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Previous experience within a Team/Line Leader or supervisory role,
    • Ability to work on own initiative with an eye for detail,
    • Ability to work in a pressurized environment, with a can-do attitude and commitment to safety,
    • Good organisation and communication skills,

    Evening Shift Industrial Cleaner

    Foyle Omagh currently have a vacancy for evening cleaners to be based at their Omagh, Co. Tyrone site. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to carry out thorough cleaning of all departments within the factory. Working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in Northern Ireland

    Shift Manager

    The Foyle Food Group requires a Shift Manager in our new Retail packing operation, Foyle Ingredients, located on the Foyle Omagh site, 52 Doogary Road, Omagh Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

    The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager, working closely with other Supervisors, Line Leaders and Technical Personnel to oversee the day-to-day running of the facility to ensure the on-time delivery of a premium product.

    We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, pressurised environment. Working to exacting specifications and targets, getting the best out of both people and equipment within the facility. The facility operates 7 days a week and the successful candidates will work 5 days out of 7, and must be available to work at least every other weekend. Hours of work – alternative shifts: early 6:30am > and late shift 10:00am >.

    Operator

    Locations: Foyle Proteins

    Foyle Proteins require a General Operative to be based at Campsie, Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern rendering plant in N. Ireland.

    The successful candidate will be part of a shift team working a 24 hr shift pattern from Mon > Sat. Essential Criteria:
