Foyle Donegal is looking for a General Office Administrator to join our team at our factory in Donegal, located just 5 minutes outside Derry.

The successful candidate will initially work across a range of office functions, including shipping, reception and payroll, while receiving full training and support.

This is a multifunctional role offering plenty of opportunities to develop new skills, gain valuable experience and build a long-term career within the company. The role is fully site-based at our Donegal facility.

Starting Salary €31,000, increasing after probation is successful.

Main duties of the role will be:

Processing of weekly payroll
General reception duties
General Administration duties
Shipping documentation – export certs / veterinary documentation
Liaising with hauliers
Site switchboard

You will need:

The ability to deal confidently with people with clear and effective communication skills both verbally and written.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, working 8 hours between 0730 and 1630.

With a Rota in place for overtime in the evenings

INFORMATION

We are actively seeking individuals both skilled and unskilled to work at our Foyle Donegal facility in a wide range of roles.

General Operatives

Successful candidates will be provided with full information, training, instruction, protective clothing and equipment. We have free on-site parking, a subsidised canteen and all employees get free life assurance upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Starting rate for trainee and inexperienced operators is €14.90 per hour, additional skills bonuses are applicable for Semi and Skilled Butchery roles.

All offers of employment are dependent on successfully passing the Companies pre-employment medical, which includes a drugs and alcohol test.

Hours of work:

Beef Boning Hall - Hours of work - 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday > Friday with a rotating day off each week – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

Beef Slaughter Hall / Further Processing – Hours of work Monday > Friday 5 x 8-hour shifts
