INFORMATION

Foyle Gloucester is seeking a Despatch Operative to be based at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy despatch team, supporting the day to day running of the Despatch Department, contributing to ensuring that the appropriate documentation is completed and will also assist in ensuring that strict deadlines are met whilst complying with customer specifications, meat quality, hygiene standards and health and safety requirements.

Essential Criteria:
• Previous experience of using Counterbalance FLT, Reach FLT and Shunt vehicle – training to update these licences can be provided
• Ability to cope with manual handling tasks
• A good communicator who takes pride in their work and takes a team-orientated approach to working within a busy environment
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work within health and safety guidelines
• Flexible approach to working hours

Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience of working in a despatch environment
• Food hygiene qualification
• Willing to undergo Shunter training, this would require a driving licence

INFORMATION

Foyle Omagh requires General Operatives to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

We have opportunities available in our Beef Boning Hall, Beef Slaughter Hall and Hygiene Departments.

Hours of work:

Beef Boning Hall - Hours of work - 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday > Friday with a rotating day off each week – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

Beef Slaughter Hall– Hours of work Monday > Friday 5 x 8-hour shifts

Basic starting rate is £12.71 per hour, regardless of age, increasing with additional skill premiums gained through personal development

New rates applicable as off the 1st April 2026 Today: £12.71 > £17.06 per hour

1st April 2026: £13.71 > £18.40 per hour

No experience necessary, full training and protective equipment will be provided. Subsidised Canteen on site, Cycle to Work Scheme, Group Health & Wellbeing Programme and free Life Assurance for all staff after probation.

INFORMATION

Foyle Omagh requires evening cleaners to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to.

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager/Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the evening shift cleaning as part of the hygiene team. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the factory is cleaned to audit standards.
• Use of chemicals, power hoses and cleaning equipment.
• Continuously striving to find new ways to improve efficiency and quality of cleaning processes.
• Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Management

Working Hours: 40 hours per week 4.30pm > 12.30am during standard operations, Monday to Friday with opportunities to undertake additional hours at the weekend on occasions.

Basic starting rate is £12.71 per hour, regardless of age, increasing with additional skill bonus gained through personal development – opportunities for overtime.

No experience necessary, full training and protective equipment will be provided. Subsidised Canteen on site, Cycle to Work Scheme, Group Health & Wellbeing Programme and free Life Assurance for all staff after probation.

INFORMATION

The Foyle Food Group are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer. Responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s IT infrastructure and its associated security controls.

The role combines hands on infrastructure engineering with embedded security responsibilities, ensuring that systems are available, resilient, secure, and compliant with organisational policies and recognised standards (including ISO 27001 and GDPR aligned controls).

The role is operational and technical, supporting day to day infrastructure and security requirements while contributing to projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties will evolve in line with business and technology changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Infrastructure
• Security Engineering

Essential
• 5 + years’ experience in an IT Infrastructure or Security Engineering role
• Third level Education
• Flexible working essential to be able to deal with issues outside standard business hours / weekends etc.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing)
• Experience supporting security controls and endpoint protection
• Strong troubleshooting and incident handling skills

Desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security features
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security audit processes
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Security, ITIL)
