Multi Skilled Engineer

Locations: Foyle Gloucester
Closing Date: 28/02/2020

    Foyle Gloucester requires a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to be based at their Cinderford site. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established food processing group.

    The successful candidate will be part of the Foyle Gloucester Maintenance team, assisting in the day-to-day and preventative maintenance programmes and assisting with ad-hoc maintenance activities on the Foyle Gloucester site.

    Essential Criteria:

    • A can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills are essential
    • Experience working on and maintaining equipment and machinery
    • Flexible / team worker
    • A sound understanding of Health and Safety standards is essential

    Desirable Criteria:

    • 18th Edition electrical certification
    • Electrical testing and inspection experience
    • Electrical apprenticeship completed
    • Experience with three phase motors
    • Ability to work at heights
    • Previous hydraulics and pneumatics experience
    • Previous refrigeration experience
    • Previous welding experience

    Packing Supervisor

    Locations: Foyle Melton Mowbray

      Foyle Melton Mowbray, based on the Six Hills Road approx. 10 miles from Melton Mowbray, Nottingham and Leicester are looking for an experienced Packaging Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest red meat producers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

      You will be responsible for the Supervision of all aspects of the Packaging function within the strategy and general policies as instructed by the site General Manager on behalf of the site Managing Director. It will be your responsibility to manage staff and packaging facilities efficiently and effectively, in order to assist in the achievement of the various objectives and goals of the department and site in line with legal and customer requirements as prescribed by the FFG Executive Board.

      Essential Criteria:

      • Experienced in a red meat packaging environment
      • Good people management skills
      • A high degree of English language and literacy knowledge
      • Ability to work on own initiative / pressurised working environment

      Evening Shift Cleaners

      Locations: Foyle Omagh / Foyle Ingredients
      Closing Date: 31/03/2020

      Foyle Omagh / Ingredients currently have a vacancy for an evening shift cleaners to be based at their Omagh, Co. Tyrone site. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the successful candidate will be required to carry out thorough cleaning of all departments within the factory. Working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in the UK and Ireland.

      Criteria:

      • Good Communication skills
      • Awareness of Health & Safety
      • Be flexible and reliable in approach to meet the demands of a busy department
      • Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
      • Ability to adapt to physically demanding work

      In return we offer:

      Hours of work: 4.30pm – 12.30pm Monday to Friday. Owing to the requirements of the department additional hours may be required during busier periods as well as approx.. 1 Saturday per month and 6 Saturdays between 1st Oct and the 31st Nov annually.

      Production Operative

      Locations: Foyle Food Group – Foyle Omagh
      Closing Date: 30/05/2020

      Foyle Omagh requires General Operatives to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

      The successful candidates will undertake operations in both the Beef Boning and Slaughter Halls on site – full training will be provided to use cutting equipment to enable employees to attain their full potential.

      Hrs of work Beef Boning Hall > 0700 > 1730

      4 x 10hr shifts each week with a rotating day off – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

      Beef Slaughter Hall > 0830 > 1630 – 5 x 8hr shifts each week

      (Production units are operational on Saturdays between the 1st Oct and the end of November)

      Minimum hourly rate of £8.21 per hour regardless of age

       Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
