INFORMATION

The Foyle Food Group requires a Logistics Co-Ordinator, based at our Shared Service Centre within the main Foyle Omagh site. This is a maternity cover role for a period of approx.. 9 months. If you are looking for a change in career path this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed – no previous experience needed as full training will be provided – please note this role is completely office based.

Essential Criteria

• Flexible approach to working hours
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident / Effective communicator
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills focusing on Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure

Hours of work in general are 0900 > to finish - Mon > Fri and provide cover to address issues every 3rd weekend

Dispatch Quality Champion

INFORMATION

Foyle Gloucester is seeking a Dispatch Quality Champion to be based at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will be reporting to both the Technical Manager and Dispatch Manager, with responsibility for the day-to-day inspection and quality control of all products for dispatch to customers or sister sites. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Duties to include (but not limited to):
• Ensuring that all orders being dispatched are checked and adhere to specifications
• Working to deadlines to ensure orders are despatched in a timely manner
• Carry out I-Leader checks

Essential Criteria:
• Ability to follow written instruction on primal specification templates
• Ability to meet strict deadlines whilst complying with customer templates
• Working knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety requirements
• Computer Literate
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to use own initiative
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Driving licence as may need to travel to cold store and sister sites

This is a full-time position with a flexible start time due to role being order dependent.

The rate paid for this role is £15.51. Full on the job training will be given to the successful applicants.

INFORMATION

Foyle Gloucester is seeking Slaughter Hall Operatives to be based at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This will involve working in an abattoir environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Cutting, trimming and preparation in the meat production process
• Maintaining Health & Safety, Hygiene and Food quality standards
• Working as a team to ensure the production runs quickly and efficiently
• Complying with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace

Desirable criteria:

• Previous experience of working in an abattoir environment
• Experience of working with knifes
• WATOK CoC licence with any of the following competences: A11, A41, A42, A43, A51, A52 and A53

The rate paid for this position is £13.71 per hour, with a skills premium applied depending on task undertaken based on throughput daily. Overtime Monday to Friday is paid at time and a quarter with overtime on a Saturday being paid at time and a half.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Dependent on position on the production line with a start time of 07:00 or 07:15 or 07:30 until finish.

No experience necessary as full on the job training will be given to the successful applicant. Benefits include Group Health and Wellbeing Programme, free Life Assurance once passed probation period and after qualifying period access to the Cycle to Work Scheme.
