Evening Shift Cleaners

Locations: Foyle Omagh / Foyle Ingredients

Foyle Omagh / Ingredients currently have a vacancy for an evening shift cleaners to be based at their Omagh, Co. Tyrone site. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the successful candidate will be required to carry out thorough cleaning of all departments within the factory. Working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in the UK and Ireland.

Hours of work: 4.30pm – 12.30pm Monday to Friday. Owing to the requirements of the department additional hours may be required during busier periods as well as approx.. 1 Saturday per month and 6 Saturdays between 1st Oct and the 31st Nov annually.

Business Intelligence Analyst

Locations: Foyle Food Group – based in Foyle Omagh

The Foyle Food Group are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the established Group IT/IS team at the Foyle Omagh site based on the outskirts of Omagh town. This new role will help develop and implement the business requirements for BI using a range of tools and data visualisation, the role holder will need to develop robust and meaningful reporting and insights that will inform stakeholders and support strategy leading initiatives

    • The development and production of high quality analysis and reporting – including Regular Insight reports
    • Ad hoc reporting
    • BI dashboards/scorecards
    • Collect, mine, analyse and communicate complex data in order to drive effective and beneficial change
    • Developing forward looking forecasts, insight, analysis and modelling
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills to present findings to senior stakeholders, and support strategy leading initiatives that will transform the customer’s technical experience
    • Duties and responsibilities

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent understanding of Business Intelligence and why it is important for a company
  • Solid SQL experience
  • Power BI experience

  • Good communication and presenting skills
  • Good influencing skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • DAX
  • Power Query/Query Editor
  • Understanding of quality systems in the food industry

Production Operatives

Locations: Foyle Gloucester

Foyle Gloucester requires operatives to join our production team. The roles available are within our butchery and packing teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established food processing group.

Essential Criteria:

  • Willing to learn new skills where appropriate

Shift system based on 5-week rota, 10-hour days (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday based on 4 days per week (reverts to 5 day working, 8-hour days for 10 weeks over summer period). Start time is 7:15am.

A minimum of National Living Wage is paid – including those aged below 25 years.

Production Operative

Locations: Foyle Food Group – Foyle Omagh

Foyle Omagh requires General Operatives to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidates will undertake operations in both the Beef Boning and Slaughter Halls on site – full training will be provided to use cutting equipment to enable employees to attain their full potential.

Hrs of work Beef Boning Hall > 0700 > 1730

4 x 10hr shifts each week with a rotating day off – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

Beef Slaughter Hall > 0830 > 1630 – 5 x 8hr shifts each week

(Production units are operational on Saturdays between the 1st Oct and the end of November)

Minimum hourly rate of £8.21 per hour regardless of age

    Loading Bay Operatives

    Apprentice Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

    Locations: Omagh

    The Foyle Food Group is looking to employ an Apprentice Electrical / Mechanical / Maintenance Engineer to be based in our Foyle Ingredients site in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest red meat processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

    An Apprentice Engineer will work alongside a fully qualified member of the Site Maintenance Team. Duties include measuring and accuracy work, electrical installation, maintenance of plant equipment and electrical engineering.

    All training will be provided on the job. Ideally the position would suit a school leaver with intent on taking up an apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance Engineering.

    Please note that whilst the core hours for this role is 40 hours per week, the successful post holder will be required to be flexible in regards to starting and finishing times.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Locations: Omagh

    Foyle Ingredients requires an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Foyle Ingredients is a Retail Packing Plant based within the Foyle Omagh site located on the outskirts of Omagh Co Tyrone. This is an exciting opportuntity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

    The successful candidate will be part of the Foyle Ingredients Maintenance team, assisting in the day-to-day and preventative maintenance programmes.

    Working hours between 0600 > 2000 during standard operations. When evening shift is in place hours of work are between 1600 > 0300 carried out on a rotational basis. Monday to Saturday (working 5 days from 6) totalling 45 hours per week with opportunities to undertake additional hours. Occassional preventative maintenance work on a Sunday.
