Evening Shift Cleaners

Foyle Omagh / Ingredients currently have a vacancy for an evening shift cleaners to be based at their Omagh, Co. Tyrone site. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the successful candidate will be required to carry out thorough cleaning of all departments within the factory. Working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in the UK and Ireland.

Technical Assistant

Foyle Melton Mowbray requires a Technical Assistant at their Six Hills site outside Melton Mowbray. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for the meat industry and a desire to learn about the technical and quality requirements of the food industry. A qualification in a food science field or 1 year’s relevant experience is desirable but not essential. You will be keen to learn and acquire a broad range of skills to help develop a career in the technical function

Any experience of working in a technical position in the food industry either from a university placement or full-time, post-grad role would be desirable but, again, not essential. You will be highly driven and committed to your career development, with a strong ambition to become part of the management team.

    The Foyle Food Group are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the established Group IT/IS team at the Foyle Omagh site based on the outskirts of Omagh town. This new role will help develop and implement the business requirements for BI using a range of tools and data visualisation, the role holder will need to develop robust and meaningful reporting and insights that will inform stakeholders and support strategy leading initiatives

      • The development and production of high quality analysis and reporting – including Regular Insight reports
      • Ad hoc reporting
      • BI dashboards/scorecards
      • Collect, mine, analyse and communicate complex data in order to drive effective and beneficial change
      • Developing forward looking forecasts, insight, analysis and modelling
      • Excellent communication and influencing skills to present findings to senior stakeholders, and support strategy leading initiatives that will transform the customer’s technical experience

    Duties and responsibilities

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    The successful candidate will be part of the Foyle Omagh Maintenance team-based assisting in the day-to-day and preventative maintenance programmes and assisting with ad-hoc maintenance activities on the Foyle Omagh site.

    Essential Criteria:

    Quality Control Operative

    Locations: Foyle Food Group – Foyle Ingredients

    The Foyle Food Group is looking to employ an additional Quality Control Operative within our state of the art Retail Packing Facility at the Foyle Ingredients site based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.

    The Quality Control Operative will report directly to the Technical Manager and are responsible for ensuring all developed product meets Customer and Company standards for conformance and food safety standards.

    Duties will include but are not restricted to:

    • Monitoring product from intake to finished product and reporting any food safety or quality issues e.g. temperature control, fat analysis, weight checks and label verification.
    • Record and take corrective actions re: non-conformance reporting to suppliers
    • Complete sensory analysis of products in the test kitchen.
    • Participate in NPD trials and New product launches.

    Hours of operation for the role are Monday to Saturday (working 5 days from 6 per week) totalling 40 hours per week between 0600 > 2000; with opportunities to undertake additional hours. We pay all QC operatives £8.71 per hour (NLW + 50p premium bonus).

    Essential Criteria:

    • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C and above or equivalent
    • Working knowledge of what is involved in Quality Control Checks
    • Strong command of the English Language both verbal and written
    • IT Literate
    • Good organisation and communication skills
    • Ability to work on own initiative with an eye for detail
    • Ability to work in a pressurised environment, with a can-do attitude and commitment to safety
    • Flexibility towards working hours

     

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Current Level 2 Food Safety for Manufacturing Certificate
    • Previous experience working in a quality / assurance role
    • Previous experience or working knowledge of red meat products

    Production Operatives - Butchery

    Locations: Foyle Food Group – Gloucester

    Foyle Gloucester requires operatives to join our production team. The roles available are within our Boning and Trimming team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established food processing group.

    4 x 10hr shifts each week with a rotating day off – 4-day weekend every 5 weeks.

    Beef Slaughter Hall > 0830 > 1630 – 5 x 8hr shifts each week

    (Production units are operational on Saturdays between the 1st Oct and the end of November)
