Night Cleaning Staff

Foyle Campsie requires a Night Cleaning Operative.  The post will be based at their Campsie site in County Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive beef processing groups in Ireland and the UK.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy cleaning team.  Industrial cleaning of all departments of the factory post production. Working as part of a team of 9 to ensure hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. Using chemicals to clean the factory. Physical tasks include not limited to, power hosing, moving parts & equipment, etc. Please note work can be physically demanding.

Essential Criteria:

  • 1 years’ experience in industrial cleaning in a production / industrial environment.
  • Ability to commit to a night shift working 5pm – 1:30am and later when required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment used in a factory environment.
  • Experience in use of chemicals.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks which require manual handling.
  • Ability to work weekends as and when required.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Basic level of English

Full Time Summer Staff

Stores Controller

The successful candidate will be part of a busy production team and will be responsible for all aspects of the Foyle Ingredients packaging store, managing the overall stores facility and distribution operations ensuring effective utilisation of the space, support production team within the stores function, develop procedures to improve the process and create efficiencies within the stores and distribution function. They will be accountable for managing orders and intake of deliveries on a daily basis, maintaining accurate records of all stock and providing good housekeeping in designated areas, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to carry out weekly, monthly and annual stock taking ensuring accurate reporting on stock levels within your area.
  • Ability to fulfil administration requirements of the position and must possess established IT skills.

Technical Manager

Production Operative

Foyle Proteins require a General Operator to be based at our rendering plant in Campsie, Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern rendering plant in N. Ireland. We are currently looking for a shift operator, the ideal candidate will have a mechanical / engineering background with working knowledge of pumps, motors and filters. Being a rendering plant, the working environment is very warm, and you will be exposed to raw materials such as animal intestines, bones and blood.

The successful candidate will be part of a shift team working a 3 x 8 hour, 24 hr shift pattern from Mon > Sat.

The Foyle Food Group requires General Operatives to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.

You will be provided with training to enable you to become a fully skilled member of the team, de-boning, trimming, packing, slaughtering, operating machinery and carrying out general production work. The successful candidate will be part of a busy (department) team.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop yourself
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Good communication skills
  • A good attitude towards health and safety

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous beef boning and/or trimming experience
  • Previous experience working in the food industry/similar environment

Working in partnership with CRAFT training, all new employees will have the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification (Level 2 or 3) in Meat and Poultry, with a financial incentive upon completion of the Apprentice qualification.

Foyle Melton Mowbray are looking for skilled and unskilled trainee meat plant/general operatives for their operations at their abattoir in Sixhills near Melton Mowbray. Main duties of the role will be :

  • Working in the Abattoir area and/or Loading Bay area
  • Carry out duties involved in the processing of livestock
